Put this into an old Dell Inspiron 1150 that had a bum HD. Now it's back in form and better than ever! I really believe this improved boot time by 10-15 seconds.

Replacement H/P Hard Drive (2010-02-15)
Once you are able to determine the exact type of hard drive your particular machine requires, the removal and re-installation of this particular hard drive was extremely easy. The formatting of the hard drive took about 1/2 the time we had expected. The H/P laptop that this hard drive was inserted into, now works better and faster than ever. Very please with this purchase.
