MacBook (2010-07-10)
I got the drive on the day as promised, installed it in to my MacBook, went in to disk utilities to format the drive and it was ready to have OS X installed.
No problems, buy it for your MAC laptop, don't waste your money on a hard drive specifically made for a MAC.
I paid $44.99, can't beat the price.

it self-destructed killed my PC (2010-04-14)
This hard drive has short-circuited as soon as I turned on the power, with a distinct smell of burning electrical wires. What is worse, it has also killed the motherboard of the computer it was connected to. Upon a second test, it has released white smoke from the area of the power connector. Now I'm stuck with a dead computer. Thanks, Western Digital!

100% satisfied by this drive. *WARNING : you need to purchase a SATA drive cable*
Easy to install into computer. If you have windows xp you would have to activate the drive from memory management. Besides that is has a great amount of space (actual space is 230GB)
and is very fast. Definetly recommend this product to those who need either a cheap yet fast master drive or just need a little extra room for those games and movies.

Purchased two of this HDD for backup, based also on some external reviews. So far no problems, hope that the relative low data amount / density will also give a good lifetime.
