Shuffle Not Good (2009-01-13)
The FM radio works great but the shuffle does not. On shuffle it will start with the same song every time you use it. It shuffles once and plays the songs in the same order every time and always starts at the beginning. My husband has been trying to use this mp3 since Christmas and he says he has only heard the same songs over and over becausee the shuffle starts at the beginning every time. He has even tried selecting a particular song to get it started and once shuffle is turned on, the same songs play again. This is NOT a good shuffle and we would NOT recomend this product for anyone wanting their music shuffled.
Very good for the price. (2008-11-10)
Overall this works well and is a good value. Three things that annoy me though are: 1) If you pause a song, the player shuts down fairly quickly and when you turn it back on there is no way to continue the song where you left off. 2) If you have it shuffle the songs, it will always play them in the same order. You cannot re-shuffle. 3) When putting songs on it, if you fill up the memory, the player won't work until you remove a song or 2. This is annoying because I put songs on it, filling up the memory, leave, get on the bus or whatever and the player won't play. Despite these issues, it's quite a nice little player. I mostly use it to listen to music or to pre-recorded lectures I have to listen to for work.
Great little thing (2008-10-17)
I purchased this product to be able to listen to the religious chats that I download from Turkish radios, and it works great! Instead of keeping my PC on for hours, I just download the program from archives and transfer it to my philips mp3 player.
OMG! I LUV IT! (2008-06-30)
I got this player today, and am loving it so far! The songs that come on it are sweet, and it holds up to 225 songs! ; ) I am a MAJOR clutz, so obviously I've already dropped it, but geuss what?!?! NOT EVEN A SCRATCH. I highly recoomend it!
