Great Y cable (2010-07-06)
I had a similar cable before that I used in my car for aux input to the stereo.
But as soon as I connected my Sansa Fuze, it started feeding hiss and static in.
This cable removed it all, wonderful shielded cable.
Heavy Duty & Professional Grade Cable (2010-01-28)
I ordered this cable because I wanted a heavy duty cable that would withstand the test of time and this cable met my requirements. It is a thick gauge cable and is definitely professional grade.
I bought this cable to connect my Zune MP3 player to my stereo and to be able to have the MP3 player in my lap as I sit in my easy chair when I listen to music.
Because of the thickness of the cable and its high quality I did not notice any degradation in the signal or quality of my music which can occur when you use cables that are longer in length.
Although this cable is somewhat expensive for an audio cable it is definitely worth the price because of it's high quality. You cannot find 12ft cables like this one at the rAdIo ShAcK or other retail stores so I was very pleased to find it on Amazon.
Not the product pictured! (2009-05-11)
According to my order history, this is the cable that I own, however mine has a much larger shield on the 3.5mm jack side than the one pictured.
The cable is pretty thick and feels well constructed.
HOWEVER, I'm not overwhelmingly happy with the cable for the following reason:
Somehow I underestimated the length that I would need and as a result the 12' is cutting it VERY close (I'm hooking my laptop up to my home theatre system). Because I need every centimeter I can get to keep my computer at the optimal location, I need to keep any ounce of stress off of the 3.5mm jack. When there is too much pressure, the audio cuts out. I've never experienced this before. It's pretty frustrating, however as long as I am careful with the cable it works fine.

Nice cables (2009-01-07)
I'm not a super audio expert, but this cable is nicely priced, and does the job.
I wanted to play iTunes on my laptop but have the audio come out of the TV, and this cable was perfect for it. I also used S-Video cable, and was able to put iTunes cover-flow on TV, which was nice.
Great price for a good length cord (2008-08-30)
The title says it all -- a very fair price ($13 at the time I bought it) for a very good length cord. This is a better deal than you can find most places. It does everything you need it to, and although the gauge is relatively thin, it works fine, and I don't notice any sound quality loss or distortion at all. Pleased.
